The way this information is presented is kind of silly. Look; the information is secret, period. Nobody even within the retail sectors of outlet is supposed to know what is coming up next until the day it is released and the general public finds out. I worked for Apple, and I can tell you it's not like this "secret police" bs you've spun here. Yes, they check your phones when you bring them – the phones they GIVE you. Many business claim rights over these sorts of property. However, most business aren't handling the sensitive kinds of information Apple is dealing with – do you have any idea how much money inside information from Apple is worth. I can attest to having received offers of bribery and even threats of blackmail in some rare cases, to speak. It's not just reporters that seek this information, but particularly competitors. And if they weren't so strict, you could bet someone would sneak in and rob them for their valuable secrets.
